Dr. Katharina Völkl-Posch
Dr. Katharina Völkl-Posch studied in Vienna, Salzburg and Rome. She spent seven years as an assistant professor at the Institute for Employment and Social Law at the University of Vienna. At the same time, she was the first female research assistant to go on to the Austrian Supreme Court. She then went on to work in a number of commercial law firms before establishing herself as a lawyer in her own firm. Katharina has been a partner at Völkl Rechtsanwälte since 2020.
She is also a contributor to Legal500 and a Thomson Reuters Country Correspondent for employment law.
In addition, she has also completed training in NLP coaching, mediation and becoming a collaborative lawyer. She is also an Executive Business Research Partner at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the author of several publications and winner of the prestigious JBl sponsorship prize.
Katharina is a member of the Gesellschaft für Arbeits- und Sozialrecht (Society for Employment and Social Law) and featured on the list of practitioners (commercial mediators) at the Vienna International Arbitral Centre.
